No.6 郑人买履 A story of a dogmatist

This story is about a dogmatist in ancient China. The fable comes from the book 《韩非子》. Han Fei Zi (韩非子 280 – 233 BCE) was the name of a Chinese philosopher of the Legalist school (法家) during the Warring States period. The book 《韩非子》 is a representative work of Chinese Legalism. Many fables in the book have become well-known idioms that are still used in the Chinese language today. "郑人买履" is one of them.
