赋得古原草送别
白居易离离原上草，一岁一枯荣。
野火烧不尽，春风吹又生。
远芳侵古道，晴翠接荒城。
又送王孙去，萋萋满别情。
A Farewell On The Grassland
by Bai Juyi (772-846 AD)Flourishing grasses on the meadows,
Once a year they wither and thrive.
Wildfire can not wipe them out,
Blown by a spring breeze they again grow.
The fragrant grass in distance has covered the ancient trail,
Vivid green color has been all over the ruin of the town.
I am seeing off old friends once more,
The parting sorrow grows like the widespread grasses.
