Yǒng É

骆宾王 (Luo Binwang)   唐朝 Tang Dynasty (618-907)
É, é, é, qū xiàng xiàng tiān gē.
鹅,鹅,鹅,曲项向天歌。
bái máo fú lǜ shuǐ, hóng zhǎng bō qīng bō.
白毛浮绿水,红掌拨清波。

Goose, O goose!
You curve your neck up and sing to the sky.
Your white feathers are floating on the turquoise water,
The red-webbed feet are paddling the clear ripples.
    骆宾王-Luo Binwang (640 – 684), was a Chinese poet of the Tang dynasty. It is said that he wrote the poem "Ode to the Goose" at the age of seven.
