淮上喜会梁川故人

江汉曾为客，相逢每醉还。
浮云一别后，流水十年间。
欢笑情如旧，萧疏鬓已斑。
何因不归去？淮上有秋山。
A Rejoicing Meeting on Huai River With An Old Friend From Liang Prefecture

While I traveled to Jiang and Han,
We met, we drank and we did not leave until we were tipsy.
Then we were floating apart like clouds,
Ten years has passed like the running water.
Rejoicing and laughing the feeling between us remains the same,
except our sideburns are turning thin and grey.
You ask me for what reason I do not return to north,
It is for the mountains in autumn along the Huai River.
