语法点 Grammar Points


【语法点 1】 又 + Verb | 再 + Verb

"又/再 + Verb" indicates the recurrence of an action or a situation. The adverb 又 is used for actions that have already happened, while the adverb 再 means the recurrence is about to happen.
Jīntiān zǎoshang wǒ yòu chídào le.
今天早上我又迟到了。
I was late again this morning.
今天早上我再迟到了。
Wǒ yòu shuōle yībiàn.
我又说了一遍。
I said it again.
Wǒ yào zài zuò yī cì.
我要再做一次。
I will do it again.
Wǒ míngtiān zài huídá zhège wèntí.
我明天再回答这个问题。
I will answer this question tomorrow.

【语法点 2】 Interrogative Pronoun …… 就 …… Interrogative Pronoun

The adverb 就 can connect two same interrogative pronouns to express an uncertain person, thing, time, place, etc. The interrogative pronoun appears twice in the sentence, referring to the same thing.
Nǐ yuànyì gěi shéi jiù gěi shéi.
你愿意给谁就给谁。
You can give it to whomever you please.
Nǐ xǐhuān shénme jiù mǎi shénme.
你喜欢什么就买什么。
You may buy whatever you like.
Nǐ gāoxìng qù nǎr jiù qù nǎr.
你高兴去哪儿就去哪儿。
You may go wherever you like.
Nǐ xiǎng jǐdiǎn zǒu jiù jǐdiǎn zǒu.
你想几点走就几点走。
You can leave whenever you want.
